Easter Egg Scramble & Breakfast
Attend the Easter Egg Scramble & Breakfast to enjoy Easter activities and then an egg-stra special egg hunt through downtown Lakeville businesses! Children must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-registration for adults and children is required.
Golden Egg Hunt
Find the four golden eggs in our parks and complete the challenges. Clues will be sent via email to registered participants of this free event.
Pan-O-Prog Run: 1-Mile & 4-Mile
Run along the beautiful west side of Lake Marion. Pan-O-Prog Run race lengths include a 1-mile and a 4-mile run, and a half-mile Fun Run for kids. Register online.
Youth Shore Fishing Contest
At the annual Youth Shore Fishing Contest, kids are invited to fish away the morning in search of "the big one." Prizes will be awarded.
"Who Done It?" Hike
Play Sherlock Holmes by collecting clues and solving the mystery while walking the trails during the "Who Done It?" Hike. When the end is near and you think you have it solved, you’ll have a chance to guess “who done it.”
Tour of Lakeville
Join us on this 18-mile ride to discover trails, parks and conservation areas in Lakeville. Led by Lakeville Friends of the Environment volunteers.
Haunted Forest Festival
The annual Haunted Forest Festival event occurs in October before Halloween and includes a trick-or-treat maze, hayrides, children's entertainment and the haunted forest trail. Santa's Secret Store
Kids enjoy hassle-free holiday shopping! Santa’s Secret Store is specially designed for children to purchase gifts for family and friends. Great gifts will be available, priced from $1 to $15. Children and parents work together to make a shopping list including who to buy for and how much to spend on each person. Then it’s shopping time! Gifts are wrapped and brought home to remain a secret until the holidays. Visit our registration module for more details.
Ritter Fest
Enjoy a winter adventure with snowmobile rides, snowshoeing, and roasted marshmallows by the fire. This family-friendly program is a fun way to explore the outdoors and make lasting memories in the snow. Food trucks will be on site with tasty treats. The 2026 event is scheduled for Saturday, February 21.
Illumination Walk
Experience the unique winter beauty of Ritter Farm Park and explore the trails illuminated by the glow of luminaries. This walk is suitable for all ages, and pre-registration is required. The 2026 date and times are available on our registration module.
Youth Ice Fishing Contest
Youth 13 and under are invited to fish through one of the many holes cut through the ice. It’s a great event for the whole family. Participants must bring their own fishing equipment and bait. Prizes will be awarded.
