Expressions Community Theater
When Annie discovers that her husband has leukemia, her friends from the Women’s Institute social club rally to support her by crafting a plan to create their own “risqué” calendar to raise money for the leukemia center. The news of the women’s charitable venture spreads like wildfire and hordes of press descend on their small English village. Based on a true story, “Calendar Girls” became the fastest-selling play in British theater history.
